Best Replacement Spools, by Brand

A quick map of which spool fits the most common cordless trimmer brands — so you order the right part the first time.

Best Replacement Spools, by Brand

Every brand uses its own spool footprint, and they are not interchangeable — the hub, diameter, and locating tabs differ even when the line gauge is identical. This is the shortlist of what fits the most common cordless lines, so you can jump straight to the right part. Always confirm your exact model in the listing’s fitment list before buying.

Black+Decker

The AF-100 single-line spool is the workhorse across the GH, LST, and ST trimmer families. If the spool’s fine but the cap cracked or the spring launched into the lawn, the RC-100-P cap-and-spring kit is the fix. See all Black+Decker parts.

Ryobi

The AC14RL3A fits most One+ 18V, 24V, and 40V trimmers using the Reel-Easy head. Browse Ryobi.

Greenworks

Single-line 29252-family spools cover the 24V and 40V trimmers — just confirm single vs dual line for your head. See Greenworks.

EGO

The AC1500 rapid-reload spool runs 0.095” line — the heavier gauge EGO’s 56V motor is built to spin. See EGO.

Worx

The WA0010 single-line spool fits the 20V and electric command-feed heads. See Worx.

DeWalt, Toro, Craftsman, Kobalt

Each runs its own: DeWalt’s DCST heads take 0.080” spools, Toro uses 88616 spooled line, Craftsman the CMZST065, and Kobalt 0.080” spools. Find yours on DeWalt, Toro, Craftsman, or Kobalt.

Don’t know which you have?

Read the part number off the old spool or measure it — the four data points are in How to Measure Your Old Spool. Then pick your brand on the Brands page and match the model. Prefer to refill rather than replace? Make sure you wind it right: How to Wind a Trimmer Spool.
